The Lagos State Government, Sunday, said that the installation of modern concrete pontoons in selected jetties across the state, is in progress, as part of efforts to upgrade waterways infrastructure. Lagos State Commissioner for Waterfront Infrastructure Development, Mr Dayo Alebiosu, said that the installation will improve commuter’s experiences under the 410 million Euros Omi Eko Project. Team Nigeria will on Saturday depart Lagos for Kampala, Uganda, to participate in the Africa Senior Squash Championship scheduled to hold from Nov. 17 to Nov.22. The Nigeria Squash Federation (NSF) on Thursday held a send-forth ceremony for the team at the Squash Court of the National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos. The Lagos State Government on Tuesday disclosed that it will present pioneering climate solutions at the 2025 United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP30) in Brazil.
