The Lagos State Government says it is targeting an additional 2,000 megawatts of embedded power generation through partnerships with private investors to ensure stable electricity supply in the state. The Lagos State Government has warned residents against making fake emergency calls to its Command and Control Centre. Officials said the trend continued to undermine rapid responses to genuine emergencies across the state. The warning came during the 2026 Ministerial Press Briefing in Ikeja on Monday.
