Nigerian artistes Osas Okonyon and Abbey Wonder have released a new single, “All My Love”, to feature in the forthcoming Nollywood movie, ‘EVI’. This was disclosed in a statement signed by Bolaji Ajayi, a publicist, on Saturday in Lagos. The collaborative track, which blends soulful vocals with contemporary Afro-pop elements, serves as part of the official soundtrack for the film and explores themes of devotion, sacrifice and emotional connection. The movie,’EVI’, is produced by Judith Audu, a Nigerian Producer and actress. The Lagos State Government has begun handing over of 180 newly-completed shops at the Alaba Rago Transnational Market as part of efforts to deliver modern trading infrastructure  under public-private partnership arrangements. A former member of the House of Representatives, Mr Taiwo Kolawole, has appealed to residents of Ajeromi-Ifelodun Federal Constituency to embrace a strong maintenance culture in order to preserve public infrastructure. Kolawole, who represented the constituency between 2019 and 2023, made the appeal on Thursday during an inspection tour of projects executed during his tenure. The former lawmaker, who also served several terms in the Lagos State House of Assembly, led journalists to schools, healthcare centres, empowerment facilities and road projects across the constituency. The Professional Golfers’ Association of Nigeria (PGA) has dissociated itself from an alleged illegal Emergency General Meeting (EGM) scheduled to hold in Lagos on Tuesday. The Executive Director of the Association, Dr Tony Philmoore, said the planned meeting was unlawful and did not have the approval of the PGA’s recognised leadership structure. Philmoore said a competent court of law in Nigeria had ruled against the convening of the meeting, rendering it invalid and without legal standing. The Coalition Against Corruption and Bad Governance (CACOBAG) has faulted the implementation of the Federal Government’s new tax reform laws, describing them as anti-people and demanding their immediate suspension pending public review. Speaking at a press conference in, CACOBAG Chairman, Mr Toyin Raheem, said the tax reforms signed into law by President Bola Tinubu lacked transparency and were rushed through the National Assembly without adequate consultation. The Chairman of Yaba Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Dr Bayo Adefuye, has urged residents to participate in the e-registration exercise of the All Progressives Congress (APC), to validate their membership.
