Pilgrims Gov. Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has admonished Christian intending pilgrims to conduct themselves as worthy ambassadors of Christ and the state during the pilgrimage exercise. The Professional Golfers’ Association of Nigeria (PGA) has dissociated itself from an alleged illegal Emergency General Meeting (EGM) scheduled to hold in Lagos on Tuesday. The Executive Director of the Association, Dr Tony Philmoore, said the planned meeting was unlawful and did not have the approval of the PGA’s recognised leadership structure. The Coalition Against Corruption and Bad Governance (CACOBAG) has faulted the implementation of the Federal Government’s new tax reform laws, describing them as anti-people and demanding their immediate suspension pending public review.
